Permanent full-head color process
The service begins with a consultation and visual inspection of your locs to select a permanent color and plan application. This is a full-head color, applied for uniform saturation from root to tip. The goal is consistent coverage across the entire head rather than spot or highlight work.
During the 120 MINUTES appointment we apply the permanent color across all locs, allow it to process, then rinse and finish to reveal the chosen tone. Expect discussion of desired depth and overall shade; the stylist will aim for even saturation while respecting the natural texture and density of your locs.
Factors that shape results
Several attributes affect outcome: previous color, loc thickness, and porosity determine how pigment is absorbed and how even saturation appears. Existing treatments or buildup can change how a color takes, so full disclosure about past coloring helps set realistic expectations for tone and uniformity.
Local lifestyle and seasonality also matter. Woodbridge’s humid summers and commuter schedules influence aftercare and timing; our calendar is busiest in Apr, May, Oct, and Nov when clients plan seasonal color changes, so book early to get preferred times near Potomac Mills and other busy local destinations.
Aftercare and scheduling considerations
Permanent color is applied for long-lasting pigment, but like all color it may gradually change over time because of washing, sun exposure, and daily wear. Plan maintenance appointments if you want to preserve vibrancy; frequency depends on your routine and the result achieved in your initial service.
The service fee is $155 and the session runs 120 MINUTES, so allow time for the full visit. Many clients coordinate appointments with shopping at Potomac Mills or nearby errands; if you rely on commuter timing, let us know so we can schedule a slot that fits your day.
